How to Use the Palworld Breeding Calculator

Breeding in Palworld is the fastest way to unlock rare and powerful Pals. But with thousands of combinations, guessing does not work.

Palworld breeding calculator removes the trial and error. This lets you build your dream team without wasting resources.

You can access the breeding calculator directly at the top of this page. It is completely free to use, works on all devices, and requires no sign-up or downloads. Simply scroll up to get started.

The tool has two simple modes. Both use verified Palworld 1.0 data, so the result you see is exactly the egg you will hatch in the game.

To keep up with new updates and game patches, the calculator is checked and updated at least once a week.

01

Find the Child

Start with two Pals you already own. Select Parent A and Parent B from the dropdown menus. You can search by name or Paldeck number. The calculator instantly checks the combination and shows which offspring Pal you will get, its elements, and whether a mutated variant is possible. Parent order does not matter — swapping A and B always gives the same result.

02

Find the Parents

Working toward a specific Pal? Go to Find the Parents mode, pick the Pal you want. The tool shows every valid parent pair that can produce it. For popular Pals like Anubis, there are more than 200 combinations. Instead of following old charts, check which parents you already have in your Palbox and choose the easiest way.

03

Breed in Game

When your pair is ready, send one male and one female to the Breeding Farm. Put the cake in the farm chest and wait for the egg. After the egg comes, put it in the Egg Incubator. The calculator tells you which Pal you will get before you spend even one Cake. Gender, passives and mutations are handled by the farm.

How Palworld 1.0 Breeding Combos Actually Work

Verified 1.0 Data164 Special CombosUpdated Weekly

Breeding in Palworld 1.0 looks very mysterious at first. But the egg system is actually very simple.

You just need to learn the basic rules. Then you can know exactly which Pal will hatch — without putting parents in the Breeding Farm.

Breeding Mechanics
01

Every Pal Has a Hidden Breeding Value

Every breedable Pal species has a fixed internal number. The community calls it CombiRank. Powerful endgame Pals have low numbers. Common early-game Pals have high numbers.

These numbers never change. So breeding results are always the same and predictable.

The Game Averages and Rounds

When you breed two different species, Palworld adds their two CombiRank numbers. It divides the total by two and rounds it. Then it checks the breeding table and gives you the Pal with the closest number.

If two Pals are equally close, the one with the higher CombiRank wins. This is why the same parents always produce the same child species.

03

Check for Special Combos First

Before the formula runs, the game checks a special hardcoded list of 164 combinations. If your pair matches any one, that recipe overrides everything else.

Relaxaurus + Sparkit always give Relaxaurus Lux. Mau + Pengullet always give Mau Cryst. Most subspecies variants can only be obtained through these fixed recipes.

Know the Same-Species-Only Pals

28 Pals, including legendaries like Jetragon, Frostallion, and Paladius, plus tower bosses like Faleris and Shadowbeak, will never come from a mixed pair.

The only way to breed them is to use two parents of the exact same species.

05

Stack Passive Skills

Once you know which Pal you will get, remember that the offspring can inherit passive skills from both parents. Strategic breeding lets you stack powerful traits on your favourite species.

Start with two Pals you want to experiment with. First, check if they form one of the 164 special combos. If not, trust the average.

Pro Tip:Passive inheritance is random. Breed multiple eggs to guarantee all desired traits transfer perfectly!

What Changed About Breeding in Palworld 1.0?

Palworld 1.0 completely rebuilt the breeding system, changing the hidden order and rendering old Early Access recipes unreliable. Here is how it affects your farm today.

01

The Combination Table Was Fully Revised

Pocketpair changed the hidden Breeding Power values of dozens of species and added more than 70 new Pals to the breeding order. Old Early Access shortcuts no longer work.

All pre-July 2026 breeding charts are unreliable. Verify your parent pair with 1.0 data before spending Cake.
02

Tower Bosses Now Breed True Only

In Early Access, you could fuse tower bosses like Faleris and Shadowbeak from cheap mixed pairs. In 1.0, all these fusion recipes were removed.

28 Pals now only breed true. You must use two parents of the exact same species to get an egg for these Pals.
03

Mutation Adds a New Layer

There is now a small chance of getting a mutated egg, which hatches with higher base stats and a unique passive skill not learnable elsewhere.

Mutation never changes the species. The child species is always decided by the combination table or a special combo.
04

Four New Cake Types

Besides standard Cake, 1.0 added higher tiers that provide specialized breeding bonuses.

  • Mushroom Cakebetter stat rolls
  • Vegetable Caketwo eggs at once
  • Deluxe Vegetable Cakehigher mutation & growth
  • Special Cakeboosts passive inheritance
Cakes affect quality & quantity — never the species.
Bottom line: Treat every pre-1.0 breeding chart as outdated. Check your pairs with live 1.0 data, stock the right Cake for your goal, and you will avoid bad surprises.
