The Basics of Inheritance

When breeding two Pals, the offspring has a high chance to inherit passive skills from either parent. An offspring can have a maximum of 4 passive skills.

If the parents have a combined total of 4 unique passive skills (e.g., Parent A has 2, Parent B has 2), there is a strong chance the offspring will inherit exactly those 4 skills. This is the most efficient way to breed a perfect Pal.

Mutations

Sometimes, an offspring will develop a new passive skill that neither parent had. This is called a mutation. While occasionally helpful, mutations usually disrupt the inheritance of desired skills.

Legendary Skills

The "Legend" passive skill can only be introduced into a breeding chain by a Legendary Pal. Once a non-legendary Pal inherits it, they can pass it down further.
